When we started posting pictures of smart locks, which can be adapted to any door, in April, we quickly realized that interest in these locks was far greater than we had anticipated.
Naturally, on social media, we approached this task carefully and made sure the product description included all the features and specifications, along with photos of the smart lock from all angles.
What is a Smart Lock?
A smart lock is a combination of electronic and mechanical components that allow us to have greater security and safety in our home or business.
By combining electronics with the well-known mechanical lock system, we now have a lock that can be opened and closed with a key, but also with a fingerprint, special magnetic RFID and IC cards or tags, a PIN code, or even an app installed on our mobile phone.
In addition to the advantage of being able to unlock a door even if we've lost or forgotten the mechanical key, remote unlocking has become possible as well. In other words, you can unlock the door for your family members or guests even when you’re not nearby. All you need to do is send a command through an app on your mobile phone, and the door will unlock.
